Thank You so much for your support!

I have been incredibly blessed by the amount of support I have received from friends and family as I prepare for this journey. As excited as I am about so many people partnering with Adventures in Missions and all of the ministries it impacts, I’d like to inform you of all the ways you (or anyone) can get involved by offering support. The great news is most of these ways are not financial! Note: None of these means of support are superior to any other; All are exceptionally helpful and immensely appreciated.

1. Pray

The number one way to support me, my team, my missions organization, and the ministries we will be partnering with is simply to pray for us. Please pray for both the currently deployed missionaries and those of us who are preparing for launch. Please pray for provision and peace. We are praying for our supporters and ask that you please pray for this ministry as a whole; Ask the Lord what level of involvement you should commit to & if there are any of the other following ways you could be supporting me as well.

2. Recruit

Are you between the ages 21 and 35, free from binding obligations/commitments, and willing to embark on the journey of a lifetime? Do you know anyone who meets those criteria and would be a great fit for the World Race as well? I would urge you to consider and/or encourage others to consider becoming a part of this ministry. Feel free to contact me for more information and explore the World Race website to learn more.

3. Spread the Word

Help support the Adventures in Missions by getting the word out about what the organization is doing! It would be very helpful if you could connect me with ANYONE you know who would be interested in getting involved. The more people who are willing and able to partner with me in any way (whether by offering prayer,  resources, more connections, etc.), the greater impact this ministry will have for everyone involved. I also love getting in touch with former racers! So, if you know anyone who has been on the World Race or has had a similar experience then I would love to get connected.

Additionally, you can support me by sharing information about upcoming fundraising events with others and encouraging them to get involved. For example, today (February 8th, 2022) I am hosting a fundraiser at McAlister’s Deli in Tulsa, OK (81st & S. Lewis Ave.) from 5-10 pm. It would be helpful if you shared the graphics and information of future events to maximize their attendance and effectiveness.

4. Donate Physical Resources

There are a number of physical resources that would be beneficial to both me and my team. For starters, we will be traveling by backpack and utilizing backpacking/camping supplies for the majority of the journey. This is because there will be times that we travel by plane, cab, or bus and will even get to tent in more rural areas. Any and all supplies viable for this type of travel/lodging you are willing to provide would help cut upfront expenditures.

Another way to get involved is to donate physical resources that I can sell at my fundraiser pop-up shops. For example, I recently was selling clothes I no longer wear and had a friend donate a few items for me to sell and put the money toward the race. Anything you no longer want or need and would like to donate for a good cause, I am open to receiving

5. Donate Financial Resources

Plain and simple, traveling costs money. So does eating. And breathing. Well, breathing doesn’t necessarily cost money but sometimes it certainly seems like it. One of the most versatile contributions that can be made to support my journey is a financial donation. I understand this may not be for everyone, but I encourage you to pray about the way in which you are being led to partner with this ministry. No matter the capacity, I am so grateful for your continued support and cannot wait to see what God will do through your contribution to this ministry.

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

John 13:34-35
